Submission Guidelines

Submissions are currently accepted for the monthly magazine and books. Writing style and subject matter are not typically a problem, except for the special magazine issue. Artwork, short stories, and creative non-fiction prose are requested to help expand the variety of work published and printed by The Moon Publishing & Printing.

Online Submissions A form to send text submissions for Persuading the Public, Poems, Short Stories, Reviews, Non-Fiction Prose, and Contributor Biographies. You may use this form to update a submission as well.

General Guidelines

Individual poems must not exceed 2 letter-sized (or A4 sized) pages with single-spaced lines, or 4 letter-sized (or A4 sized) pages with double spaced lines and 1 inch margins and 12 point font.
Individual prose pieces must not exceed 2000 words.
Cover letters are not necessary.
No printed submissions will be returned without a self-addressed stamped envelope.
Acceptable email attachments are Word documents (.doc), AppleWorks files, (.cwk) rich text format files (.rtf), and tagged image files (.tif).
Jpegs will be accepted for digital photos.

The Moon Regular Issues

Any piece longer than specified in the General Guidelines can be serialized by making them into sections.
Monthly columns are available for those writers who would like to have one in The Dark Side of the Moon section.

Book Submissions

List for the order in which you want the items in the book to appear.
Include a picture for the cover, if you would like one.
