Laura Stampsis an award-winning poet and writer. Over four hundred of her poems, short stories, and poetry book reviews have appeared in literary journals, magazines, anthologies, and broadsides, including the Louisiana Review, Ibbetson Update, American Writing, Big City Lit, Lummox Journal, Poesy Magazine, and the Paumanok Review. She is the author of twenty-five books of poetry and prose. Her latest book is a novel Evergreen (2003, Kittyfeather Press). Her latest poetry chapbook, Cat Daze, (2004, Kittyfeather Press) was a finalist in the 2004 Plan B Press Chapbook Competition.
